EDITORIAL

Good editors have a passion for the written word, for the way words can be used to create the best impact on an audience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Editor to ideate, plan and supervise editorial content, and manage cost and timelines for the assigned magazine.
  • Should generate ideas, select and/or write articles, and conduct background research.
  • Will be responsible for supervising layout, appearance and content, as well as proofreading (grammar, language).
  • Will coordinate with and manage output of freelance/external writers – sending briefs and editing output.
  • Will also prepare editorial reports and other miscellaneous editorial work, while monitoring adherence to media law and regulations.
  • Manage the entire magazine held responsible for. 
  • Conducting background research for reports or articles
  • Editing the recorded interview for insertion into a news story
  • Monitoring adherence to media law & regulations.
  • Involvement in the production cycle of the magazine for smooth flow of functioning and meeting   deadlines. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The candidate should be a Graduate/Post graduate in English/Journalism/ related subject.

EXPERIENCE:

  • The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in print/media.

SKILLS:

  • Good communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to write a variety of texts lucidly and eloquently in English.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Confident and amicable interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain networks internally and externally.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Graphic designers create visual concepts by using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing design briefs that suit the client's purpose
  • Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
  • Present the design to clients or the art director
  • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
  • Select colours, images, text style, and layout
  • Determine the message the design should portray
  • Designing the editorial pages for publications
  • Co-ordination with various departments like editorial, marketing & production to minimize lead time
  • Assuring the projects to get over as per their respective deadlines.
  • Providing Quality Assurance with absence of errors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fine art
  • Communication Design
  • Graphic design
  • Visual art
  • Any Graduate degree

SOFTWARE SKILLS:

  • InDesign
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator

SKILLS:

  • Apart from technical and drawing skills, you will need to show
  • Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair
  • A flexible approach when working in a team
  • Excellent communication skills in order to interpret and negotiate briefs with clients
  • Good presentation skills and the confidence to explain and sell ideas to clients and colleagues
  • Time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at a time
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when finalising designs
  • Being open to feedback and willing to make changes to your designs
  • Knowledge in Pre Press work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve target by maximizing the revenue generated from existing as well as developing new advertising clients.
  • Ensure proactive engagement with the clients and agencies in the market, aid understanding of their communication requirements to optimize sales and development efforts. 
  • Penetrating new markets & market mapping in the particular sector in the region.
  • Overseeing the operations of Marketing and Business Development engaged in planning & strategizing.
  • Generating new business & servicing the existing clients.
  • Client data management and preparation of reports on sales, billing.
  • Executing sales plans devised by the management & contributing towards the growth of business revenue.
  • Conducting extensive study of market trends for further business growth.
  • Build Partnerships with Media agencies, regional partners and help them get brands on board to advertise.. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree + any technical qualification

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Advertisement Sales
